Neon-style signs
LED Neon Flex Signs for Logos, Script and Feature Walls
LED neon flex is a silicone-sheathed LED tube that bends into curves, script and outlines. It gives the warm, continuous glow of classic neon without glass tube, high-voltage transformers or fragility.
It suits hospitality, retail interiors, feature walls and any brand that wants personality after dark.
- Neon look, no glass
- Bends to curves and script
- Many colours available
- Great for interiors

Where LED neon flex works best
- Restaurants, bars and cafes.
- Retail interiors and boutique feature walls.
- Salons, gyms and entertainment venues.
- Events, weddings and temporary installations.
- Reception walls and brand statement pieces.
It is especially good for script and hand-lettered logos where letter-by-letter construction is difficult.
Design options
- Backing: clear acrylic, black acrylic, or cut-out shapes following the design.
- Tube path: single-line script, outlined shapes or filled areas built from multiple runs.
- Tube colour: whites in warm, neutral or cool tones; and colours such as red, pink, blue, green and amber.
- Size and scale: small desk pieces through to large wall features.
- Mounting: standoffs, hanging chain, plug-in table stands or direct wall.
Materials and finishes
- Silicone LED flex tube in selected colours.
- Acrylic backing in clear, black, white or custom cut shapes.
- Aluminium or metal frames for outdoor or heavy-use designs.
- Powder-coated brackets and stainless fixings.
The tube itself is the main material, so colour accuracy depends on the LED chip and tube type rather than paint.
Lighting options
LED neon flex gives an even, continuous line of light. Single-colour tube is the most reliable and cost-effective choice. Dimmers and controllers allow brightness changes or simple effects. Multi-colour options and animated neon-style effects are subject to technical assessment and confirmed availability.
Output is lower than channel letters, so neon flex is aimed at close and medium viewing distances.
Neon flex vs channel letters vs edge-lit
- Choose neon flex for script, curves and atmosphere where a neon aesthetic matches the brand.
- Choose front-lit channel letters for exterior legibility from a distance.
- Choose edge-lit acrylic for a clean, minimal engraved glow.
- Choose RGB colour-changing signs when you want the colours to change.
Technical considerations
- Viewing distance: as a rough guide, many designers allow around 25 mm of letter height per 10 m of viewing distance. Neon flex lines are thin, so keep forms bold if viewed from afar.
- Minimum bend radius: tight corners and small letters have limits; the tube cannot kink.
- Weather exposure: outdoor use needs suitable tubing, sealing and assessment.
- Power: low-voltage drivers need a ventilated, accessible spot.
- Heat: the tube runs cool, but drivers do not.
- Approvals: landlord or body-corporate consent may be needed, and outdoor installation is checked at survey.
What affects the price
- Total tube length and number of runs.
- Complexity of the artwork and bends.
- Backing material and size.
- Colour and any control system.
- Indoor or outdoor use.
- Mounting and cabling.
- Quantity and installation.
Care and maintenance
Dust gently and wipe the backing with a soft cloth. Do not bend or kink the tube. Contact LED signage repairs if a section dims or goes out.
